Soap introducers: new online tool - do you need to register with AICIS?

A new self-guided tool is available for soap importers and manufacturers.

We've launched a decision tool to help Australian soap introducers work out if they need to register their business with AICIS. 

Any soap maker or seller can use the tool, including:
 

• soap makers that sell online or at local markets
• businesses that import and sell soaps

The tool complements our soap-making and importing page. It guides you through the 5 scenarios for when you don't need to register with us, including the criteria for 'Australian-made soap using lye and a maximum of 10 kilograms of fat or oil'.
